As we all
sang the songs of our favorite towns, Kerry, Cork, and sweet
Donegal, In the shade of the moonlight
And under the old apple tree
As we danced in the halls from the Spring through to Fall, Merry
making and having a ball, We're looking real good, As well as I
think that we should
They're dancing in the streets
And they're singing Irish aires
In all the local pubs and at football rugby clubs, and all this
time we will drink, Good health to our friends
Come all ye young men from the sweet Curragh Finn, Belfast,
Dublin, or any port of call, Look who just walked in the door,
The one and only Christy Moore and friends
Now the night has just gone and the daybreak has come, Lay our
heads down to rest for awhile, Don't forget that we're all set,
To crank up that good music again
There'll be one more time if you don't cross the line, We've all
here to see the Rose of Tralee, Darling girl from Clare
And the race at the Curragh of Kildare
